Tucson Preparatory School is a public alternative charter high school located in the heart of Tucson, Arizona. Our school was conceived as an educational oasis for students that do not fit into a traditional high school setting. The school utilizes a holistic approach to education that addresses serious issues that interfere with achievement and success in all facets of a student’s life. This approach leads to increased academic proficiency, a high school diploma, and ultimately better career opportunities.




Tucson Preparatory School has open enrollment all year. If school is at capacity, a waiting list is available in accordance with A.R.S. Please contact us if you are interested in enrolling.

Urban Oasis Project

Tucson Preparatory School has created the Urban Oasis Project, an urban garden using several types of organic growing methods that conserve water, demonstrate sustainability, and teach nutrient ecosystem cycles. Students are given an opportunity to work together and realize what they can do for their community with just a small amount of teamwork and collaboration.



Tucson Preparatory School is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and is dedicated to educating the youth of Tucson, AZ.
